Gas, Electrics & Fire

Gas system & appliances
  • Check Condition of regulator
  • Check condition & date of gas hose
  • Check Gas Pipework
  • Carry out leak test
  • Check gas appliances, ignition, flame and FFD
  • carry out carbon monoxide test

230v Electric Test
  • Inspection & continuity test of hook up cable
  • Inpection of inlet plug & earth bonding
  • Check condition of sockets, fixed connections and wiring
  • RCD trip test and operation of MCB's
  • Check operation of all 230v electrical appliancies recording amp pull
12v Electric Test
  • Check condition of 12n,12s or 13pin plug and cables
  • Check operation and condition of road lights 
  • Check condition of leisure battery
  • Check 12v fuses and wiring
  • Check condition of and function 12v appliances including voltage drop
  • Check solar panel if fitted
Smoke & CO Alarms
  • Check operation of smoke & CO alarms, date and security
  • Check condition of fire blankets
  • Check type and expiry date of fire extiguisher

Water, Damp & Bodywork

Water systems
  • Check condition & operation of pump
  • Check pressure switch, adjust if needed
  • Check water filter,replace if needed
  • Check operation of all taps and sign of any leak
  • Check waste pipes for any leaks or blockage
  • Check operation of toilet

Drain system after test

Damp Testing
  • Chesck for water ingress using a protimeter around, walls, floor, roof and all external openings
  • On alu-tech models, sensory check on walls, use protimeter around the floor, Lockers trays removed to test where fitted

All damp readings will be recorded on a seperate report

Interior
  • Check condition & operartion of all windows, skylights
  • Check all window seals, catches & stays
  • Check operation of flyscreens & Blinds
  • Check all ventilation points
  • Check condition & function of all cupboards
  • Check Bed slats, frames and struts
  • Check for signs of floor de-lamination
Exterior
  • Check all external seals & trim
  • Check condition and security of body panels and grab handles
  • Check all windows &  seals
  • Check all doors, locks and hinges
  • Check security of any accessories

Running Gear

Brakes & Hub Assembly
  • Check condition of brakeaway cable and if routed correctly
  • Check condition of brake rods, linkages and Bowden cables
  • Check condition of wheel bearings, brake drums and brake linings. Clean and lubricate
  • Replace brake drums using new hub nut and torque to manufacturer settings.
  • Adust brakes and check for free play on linkage
Wheels & Tyres
  • Remove wheels and check rims for any sign of damage
  • Check condition of tyres for excessive wear, date of tyre and pressure, adjusting pressure if neseccary.
  • Replace wheels and torque to manufacturer settings. 

Chassis

Drawbar assembly
  • Check coupling head,Safety catch & lubricate if required
  • Overrun - actuation & recoil, check attachment to A-frame
  • Check and clean pads on ball acting stabiliser
  • Check operation of over-run piston and lubricate
  • Jockey wheel security & lubricate
Chassis & Suspension
  • Visually inspect and check operation of suspension assembly.
  • Check chassis bolt security (Record torque) and body attachment
  • Visually check wheel box for abrasions
  • Check operation of spare wheel carrier and lubricate
Road Lights
  • Check condition of plugs and cables
  • Check condition of lenses
  • Check operation of all lights
